Unit 20: Communication and Technology in the Uniformed Public Services	P2 Send a Message by radio using standard voice procedures from one uniformed public service	The learners were given a field practice period that reviewed previous knowledge required to conduct a radio check.  This covered the phonetic alphabet and common pro-words, concentrating on when the pro-word is most effectively applied. The learners then participated in an area exercise which incorporated a radio check back to a base location manned by the tutor.  The learners were also required to report back various pieces of information relevant to the area exercise.
